"Think Global, Act Local"

Perhaps it's the relentless heat or perhaps it's because it's the middle of the week, in any case - I'm wearing one of my comfy Target (pronounced "Tar-jay") tees. And the front reads, "Think Global, Act Local." And how fitting, because our catalog is almost here...

When planning this catalog, it became clear to us that there is a move towards a more eco-friendly, "paperless" marketplace - one where more customers have access to the Internet and can shop virtually from the comfort of say, their Roosevelt Leather Arm Chair (shameless plug, I know).

However, there are several of our customers who would rather not use the computer, who would rather keep our gorgeous (I mean it - it is gorgeous) catalog on their Creme Carved Side Table, and peruse the beauty, creativity, and thoughtfulness of our catalog before a restful sleep in their Tranquillo Upholstered Bed. Or at least that's how we imagine it.

And so, to reach our customers without exhausting more natural resources than necessary, we uploaded our Summer 2010 Catalog to our website. It still delivers exceptional rooms, exclusive designs and romantic inspiration customers have come to expect and enjoy, yet it does so in an eco-friendly format. It may not be much, but if we all take small steps we can reduce our effect on climate change. Remember my t-shirt? Think Global, Act Local.

We do recognize that not every person would rather shop online, some do not have access to the Internet, and still others feel colors are more accurate in a catalog rather than a on computer screen. Therefore, our catalog can be purchased for $5.00, and with it, we send along a $25.00 off coupon code for any purchase over $175.00. (By the way, the coupon does not expire - but can only be used once...) For now, we ask that you contact our Customer Service Department at 1-888-543-2804 to order a catalog. Soon, however, you will be able to purchase it directly from our website.

And did I mention? our catalogs are almost here... ~ERB
