Flowers for a Cause!

We are in the process of developing a new product for our collection and donating the proceeds to a national charity.

Although our company is small, we have a diverse group of people working under this one roof! Our warehouse manager/shipping & receiving specialist/florist-in-residence is Kyle. (You may remember him from our last post?) And our Creative Director, Barry C. Webber also has a background in horticulture.

With this in mind, it seems only natural that we create a limited-run arrangement for the holiday season and GIVE BACK to our community. We are experimenting with arrangement, color, types of flowers, materials...and this is our first attempt. What do you think so far?

Here are the photos, in sequence, of Kyle putting together two arrangements.

First, the (Faux) Flowers ...

#1 Gold Coventry Compote Arrangement:

The Arrangement Develops...

Almost complete...

Close up...

And, voila!

#2 Green Coventry Compote Arrangement:

The careful cutting & planning...

Add a splash of red...

Here it is!

We are excited to utilize our creative staff and our means to support our community! Next experiment - a preserved floral arrangement made to our specifications by one of our creative manufacturers. Stay tuned! ~ERB
